Welp, I'm not really sure what happened to 'posting everyday.' Didn't quite get there. By quite, I mean it's been two weeks and I haven't touched this place. Woops! It's just been busy, busy schoolwork, so nothing too interesting has been going on. Finals are coming up, aw yes! It's also 2:00am and I shouldn't be posting now, but I'm in a bloggy mood...
Early on today, I did some volunteer work for my school's Latin club. As a group, we go around the beach picking up trash. The beach is already clean when we get there, though... we end up just walking around and chatting the entire time. Not complaining, believe me. It's nice - winter soon ends here and the warm weather is already settling back in. Just as we were getting used to the cold, of course, but I suppose I can't complain.
I took a few snaps on my phone, but they weren't so great. So, you get my feet instead of nice pictures of the ocean. There was a squirrel running across the sand at one point, but they didn't seem so keen on having their picture taken.
I was hoping the walk on the beach might help spur some of the writing gears in my head, but alas, no ideas came to mind. Writer's block is a big nuisance. I want to write, but... what? Maybe some awesome idea will dawn on me in the next few days, or maybe not. The first option, please, brain!
Tomorrow is off from school (Martin Luther King Jr. Day!) so there's that to look forward to.
